A Love Letter To The Brave & The Becoming

Love Letter

Dear reader, there is a quiet kind of misery that comes from looking around your life and realizing this isn’t bad…but this isn’t it either. You go through the motions, grateful, since others have it worse. However, deep down there’s an ache. A restlessness that nags at you in the silence, whispering, there’s got to be more. For you, here is a love letter.

Don’t be ashamed of this feeling. Some of the most successful people have felt this way, had this conversation and introspected as they were becoming. So many of us know this ache. Have sat with it. Prayed through it. However, this is where Rooting For Growth with Fiona DaCosta comes in. The truth is, comfort isn’t always a blessing. Sometimes, it’s a clever disguise for stagnation.

Here’s a tragedy. Many persons look successful on paper, but inside they are unfulfilled. They keep things tidy on the outside but their dreams are gathering dust. They are not lazy, they are tired. Tired of hoping. Tired of trying. Tired of waiting for something to shift. Truth is, many of us have been there at some points in our lives.

Here’s another truth: nothing shifts unless you do. Please, let that sink in.

If you ever feel stuck, stagnant or invisible, it might not be life holding you back, it might be your refusal to go all in. We can’t keep wishing for change while staying loyal to the same habits that bury our potential. One intentional, purposeful step forward, habitually, builds momentum.

Love Letter: You Are Not Powerless

Of a fact, we may not be able to control the timing of our goals but we have control over our efforts.

We may not have it all figured out, but we can figure out the next move. Don’t underestimate the small decisions. Reading the right book, sending that email, changing your environment, starting a new habit. Success is rarely one big moment, it’s a series of brave, focused choices.

Stop calling it a ‘season’ if it’s really a comfort pattern.

Stop calling it ‘God’s will’ if it’s really your fear of discomfort.

This is your permission, your sign… to stop floating and start fighting for the life you know is yours to build.

Love Letter: Your Move Matters

Gaelle Marcel

May you no longer walk through life half-awake. May you rise, not someday but today.

You are not too late. You are not too much. you are not too broken. In this moment, you are enough. You are becoming.

However, becoming doesn’t happen overnight. It happens on purpose.

Your next move matters. One day, one risk, one choice at a time.

Keep rooting for growth,

Fiona.
